So How Are Electronics Affecting Global Warming?
Today people are starting to ask, “How are electronics affecting global warming?” Well with so many technical gadgets out there it's no wonder, and guess what. They all run off energy. Millions of people around the world use a variety of these machines every day, and it's beginning to add up.
Whether it’s your laptop or a television, they all make an impact. However we're simply not going to stop using our computers, televisions and other devices which almost seem mandatory these days. The real problem (and very preventable one) is the number of people who leave there computers on "Stand By" or leave those screen savers running for hours. I know I used to.
This requires a significant amount of energy which could easily be saved. There are very few technical products on the market which provide energy saving solutions. However we don't need them to save energy. Simply, turn them off. Don't run stand by mode, don't leave the stereo on when you’re not listening to it and don't leave the television running while you go grab something from the store. Easy.
