Natural Global Warming
The natural global warming cycle is very real. Every few thousand years the Earth experiences an ice age with steady temperature increases and decreases in between. However the question is, how natural is it this time? Some studies prove that the majority of temperature increase took place before the 1940s and during the industrial revolution. However the increases have steadied since then. Part of global warming can be contributed to El Nino (1998) and volcanic eruptions which can lead the Earth's average temperature to rise.
The primary factor which contributes to the natural cycle is the variation in the Sun's radiation. Satellites can now detect that the Sun's rays is not in fact constant but changing. This is due to sunspots and hotter areas on the Sun's surface. These natural effects are all valid and do change the planets temperature to some extent. However so are the man made ones. Record high carbon emissions especially from areas of the world without limitations have also been proven to increase the Earth's temperature by a substantial amount. This is the amount which we must do our best to minimize in order for our world to function healthily and long lasting. Return from
