What is Alternative Energy?
What is Alternative Energy? Modern society's demand for energy is ever increasing, yet oil and natural gas deposits can't fully keep up. Therefore humans are forced to adapt. In this case to further the development in alternative sources of energy.
These sources do not include coal and oil but that of wind, solar and hydro. Their demand is further heightened by the pressing issue of global warming. Alternative energies are for the most part clean and eco-friendly.
Solar Energy
is an extremely low impact source. Some say it's too expensive to be effective, however this varies largely on the climate in your area.
Nuclear Energy
has boomed ever since the clean air act set forth during the 70's. With the new modern standards now set on plants energy production is up and carbon emissions are down. A very promising alternative source of energy. Wind Energy is completely clean. It has a zero-impact on the environment and is popular throughout Europe however has yet to reach its full potential in North America. Not only is it clean it's one of the oldest sources of energy production dating back to the Persian Empire. Return from
